Duty to retreat is a legal doctrine that requires an individual to attempt to safely remove themselves from a situation before the individual may use physical force for self-defense, against an imminent danger.

Firearms are weapons readily capable of expelling projectiles, like a bullet, through an explosive mechanism; including guns and their various components, such as silencers, mufflers, frames, or other destructive devices, such as bombs. 

grooming (exploitation)

Grooming is a manipulation tactic utilized to build a trusting relationship with a vulnerable person in order to manufacture a position of power or control to exploit and abuse that person. Grooming is most commonly associated with sexual abuse towards minors, but at-risk adults, such as the elderly, people with severe mental illness, and those with developmental disabilities can be victims as well. Grooming is often subtle and can be difficult to detect.

hanging chad

A chad is the portion of paper that is removed when paper is hole-punched; therefore, a hanging chad is the piece of paper that occasionally fails to fully separate from the paper when it is not fully punched through, and instead remains partially in place.
