Haw. Code R. § 17-2040-8 - Subsidy and occupancy standards

(a) The authority shall establish subsidy standards that shall provide for a minimum commitment of subsidy while avoiding overcrowding. The subsidy standards are incorporated by reference and attached as Exhibit B.

(b) The standards determine the number of bedrooms to be entered on the voucher and not a family's actual living arrangement.

(c) The authority's occupancy standards follow the occupancy codes of the County in which the unit is located. The occupancy standards are incorporated by reference and attached as Exhibit C.
