Utah Admin. Code R392-400-1 - Authority and Purpose
(1) This rule is
authorized under Sections
26-15-2,
26-1-5 and
26-1-30.
(2) This rule establishes minimum standards
for the sanitation, operation, and maintenance of a temporary mass gathering
to:
(a) protect, preserve and promote the
health and safety of the public;
(b) prevent and control the incidence of
communicable diseases;
(c) reduce
hazards to health and environment;
(d) maintain adequate sanitation and public
health; and
(e) promote the general
welfare of the public.
