Utah Admin. Code R392-502-16 - Inspections and Investigations
(1)
(a) Upon presenting proper identification,
the operator shall permit the local health officer to enter the premises of a
public lodging facility to perform inspections, investigations, reviews, and
other actions as necessary to ensure compliance with Rule R392-502.
(b) The local health officer may not enter an
occupied public lodging unit without the express verbal or written permission
of the occupant except when a warrant is issued to a duly authorized public
safety officer which authorizes the local health officer to enter, or when the
operator and the local health officer determine that there exists an imminent
risk to the life, health, or safety of the occupant.
