Utah Admin. Code R432-100-5 - Hospital Swing-Bed and Transitional Care Units

(1) A licensee that operates a hospital with designated swing-bed units or transitional care units shall comply with this section.

(2) In addition to Rule R432-100, a licensee that operates designated hospital swing-beds shall comply with the following sections of Rule R432-150:

(a) Section R432-150-4;

(b) Section R432-150-5;

(c) Section R432-150-11;

(d) Section R432-150-12;

(e) Section R432-150-13;

(f) Section R432-150-14;

(g) Section R432-150-15;

(h) Section R432-150-16;

(i) Section R432-150-17;

(j) Section R432-150-19;

(k) Section R432-150-21; and

(l) Section R432-150-23.

(3) A transitional care unit requires licensure as a nursing care facility under a separate licensing category and the licensee shall conform to the requirements of Rule R432-150.
