Utah Admin. Code R714-570-7 - Applications
(1) Applications for grant funding shall:
(a) be made on department forms;
(b) include criteria required under Section
53-21-103;
(c) ensure that peer confidentiality is
addressed;
(d) be sent to the
committee in care of the department; and
(e) be submitted before March 31,
2024.
(2) A group of
first responder agencies may jointly apply for grant funding to provide mental
health resources for first responders.
(a) The
group of agencies shall designate one first responder agency as the lead
agency.
(b) The lead agency shall:
(i) take responsibility for applying for
grant funding in behalf of the group of first responder agencies in accordance
with Subsection R714-570-7(1);
(ii) provide oversight of the mental health
resources program for the group of agencies;
(iii) maintain accounting records;
and
(iv) ensure that mental health
resources are available to first responders employed by the group of first
responder agencies and their family members, and first responders that have
retired or separated from the group of first responder agencies and their
spouses, as required under Section
53-21-102.
