conventional international law
Conventional international law is the body of international legal principles contained in treaties versus customary international law or other sources of international law . As provided in Article 38(1)(a) of Statute of the International Court of Justice, 26 June 1945 , conventional international law finds its source in “ international conventions , whether general or particular, establishing rules expressly recognized by the contesting states”.
