Utah Admin. Code R510-200-14 - Records
(1) Each local ombudsman entity shall have
access to facility and residents' records in the area served.
(2) The records described in Subsection
R510-200-14(1)
include the following:
(a) medical
records;
(b) social
records;
(c) room
numbers;
(d) names;
(e) administrative records;
(f) long-term facility policies;
(g) documents to which the resident or
general public has access;
(h)
facility licensing and certification records maintained by the state;
and
(i) other resident
records.
(3) If a local
ombudsman entity is providing temporary coverage for another local ombudsman
entity, the covering entity may have access to the records described in
Subsection R510-200-14(2)
of the local ombudsman entity for which it is providing coverage.
(4) The department, division, office, and
each local area agency may review any records that reflect the activities of
the ombudsman program. The department, division, and each local area agency may
not review records that disclose the identity of any resident or complainant,
except as provided in Section
R510-200-19.
