execution

Execution means to carry out, perform, or complete an action or obligation, as in the execution of an order or decree. It is also the signing or completing all formalities necessary to make a contract or document effective, such as signing, stamping, or delivering, or to enforce a monetary judgment.

Execution also means putting to death according to a court-rendered sentence.
