Fla. Admin. Code Ann. R. 64E-5.212 - Issuance of Specific Licenses
(1)
Upon a determination that an application meets the requirements of Chapter 404,
Florida Statutes, and these regulations, the Department will issue a specific
license authorizing the proposed activity in such form and containing such
conditions and limitations as it deems appropriate or necessary.
(2) The Department may incorporate in any
license at the time of issuance, or thereafter by appropriate rule, regulation
or order, such additional requirements and conditions with respect to the
licensee's receipt, possession, use and transfer of radioactive material
subject to this part as it deems appropriate or necessary in order to:
(a) Minimize danger to public health and
safety or property;
(b) Require
reports and the keeping of records, and to provide for inspections of
activities under the license; and
(c) Prevent loss or theft of material subject
to this part.
(3) The
department shall issue an expiration date authorizing each license to be valid
for a period not to exceed 5 years from the last day of the issuance month. The
department shall indicate the expiration date on each license. The licensee
shall be granted a 90 day extension of the expiration date if written
justification is submitted and approved by the department.
