group insurance

Group insurance is defined as the coverage of several individual persons under one comprehensive insurance policy issued by employers, associations, unions, or other qualified groups. Usually for the purpose of protecting and providing for employees, group insurance covers individuals so long as they remain in employment.

group life insurance

Group life insurance is an optional program provided by many employers and sometimes other organizations. Group life insurance provides employees a set amount of coverage based upon their salary with the employer typically paying the deductible for the policy. Sometimes, employees may be able to pay for extra coverage through the employer policy.

hazard insurance

Hazard insurance is coverage that protects a homeowner and/or business owner against physical damages caused by unexpected and sudden events such as fires, severe storms, and other events. The homeowner or business owner will receive compensation to cover the cost of any damage incurred if the specific event is covered by the insurance policy.
